Our 400+ hens are Isa Brown Free Rangers, bred for incredible eggs with an excellent lay rate and friendly temperrant. Our hens are hatched at a reputable hatchery and are vaccinated upon hatch. We welcome them onto our farm as day old chicks and they spend their first weeks of life under heat lamps in our growers shed, with access to water, feed. Once feathered, they have access to a safe fenced outdoor area.

Once the hens reach 12 weeks of age, we move them out to their own 'Chicken Caravan,' a purpose built house on wheels that caters to all their needs.

The chicken caravan has large lifting doors that open each morning and close each night once they are tucked up safely on the roosting bars.
Each morning the hens lay their eggs in a specialty built nesting box that allow the eggs to roll safely onto a conveyor belt, keeping the eggs perfectly clean.

The caravan is located on our 32 acres of pastured land and the hens have access to 2500 square meters at a time. The hens are moved every week onto new land, allowing the hens to have access to new pasture, which is excellent for their health and land.

After the hens have laid there fair share of eggs on our farm, we rehome our hens to families in the local community, where they can continue being happy hens in the backyards of locals, laying delicious eggs for a few more years.

real pasture raised / free range happy hens.

Meet the hens and learn more about their eggs.

Every morning, after the hens have finished laying for the day, we head out and collect all the eggs and take them back to our specialty built egg packing shed.

Each egg is inspected for cracks or imperfections. Our eggs are collected perfectly clean and are not wet washed. This allows the bloom to stay intact and the eggs to stay fresher for longer.

We weigh each egg and sort them into the correct size. Our eggs are then packed according to our upcoming orders and deliveries. Either in cartons or catering boxes.

While our eggs are on our farm, we keep the eggs at a temperture of 15C or lower, but with in a day or so, our eggs are out for delivery, heading towards Geraldton or Dongara.
